All Vu-Tek filters
are designed to be both anti-static and anti-radiation. An invisible transparent
conductive coating on the surface of the filter provides an effective
barrier to "e-field" radiation generated by most CRT computer monitors.
In addition, the grounded conductive coating prevents the build-up of
static electricity on the filter surface reducing the tendency to attract
dust and dirt. This insures that your Vu-Tek filters stays clean and clear.
This conductive shielding option is available on all Vu-Tek filters.

Vu-Tek PRO Model - anti-reflection, anti-static / anti-radiation filter The PRO FILTER provides superior glare reduction and contrast enhancement for relief from computer-related eyestrain and fatigue. To insure enhanced glare reduction, the optical quality glass used to make this filter is equipped with anti-reflective coatings on both sides, and has an invisible transparent conductive coating on the surface of the filter designed to be an effective barrier to both ELF and VLF radiation, which sets it apart from its competition. In addition, the grounded conductive coating prevents the build-up of static electricity on the filter surface, which reduces the tendency of the monitor to attract dust and other airborne contaminants. This insures that the filter stays clean and clear. Contrast enhancement filters reduce glare by absorbing both inbound and the reflected light as it passes through the filter. Because contrast enhancement filters also affect the amount of light that reaches the user from their computer monitor, the PRO Model comes in two transmissions (the glass tint) to insure the correct level of glare absorption for each viewing situation. EXECUTIVE Model - circular polarizer
filter (not recommended for LCD monitors) The Executive exceeds the performance of any glare-screen. It is the perfect filter for persons with variable light conditions. For example, monitors that are plagued with bright morning sunlight, followed by lesser amounts of light as the sun rises, and even less light at night. This filter has an additional optical film, a circular polarizer, which provides the ultimate glare control under any lighting situation. This breakthrough in technology prevents the light that bounces off the highly reflective surface of the tube face from transmitting back to the operator. The circular polarizer traps the light in the space between the tube and the filter, virtually eliminating all reflective glare, while providing unsurpassed performance.

PRIVACY Model - the security filter
The Privacy Model provides the security necessary to keep confidential material private. This filter makes the monitor screen viewable only to the person sitting directly in front of the monitor, while resembling opaque frosted glass when viewed from the left or right of the operator. Anyone not viewing the monitor from the operator's vantage point cannot read the display. Vu-Tek Privacy Filters are ideal for public data entry terminals used in banking, securities brokerages and other public locations where information security is a concern.
